SPRING 2025 SEASON INFORMATION SUNDAYS April 27 th through June 15 th Please help us spread the word and share with those families especially with children in Pre k and Kindergarten. Every Sunday during the season, teams of approx. 6-8 players are led through ~15 minutes of skill building exercises, followed by 45-60 minutes of game time depending on the age group. Teams are coached by parent volunteers and officiated by experienced referees. Cancellations Soccer is an all-weather sport and will be played in light rain conditions. Any cancellations will be communicated via group e-mail and on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/OrangesoccerassociationCT Game Day Attire T-Shirts will be supplied on the first day of play All players are required to bring Own Water, Own Ball with your child's name on it, and Shin Guards. Players must wear sneakers (soccer cleats are optional) Team Divisions, Game Time and Location Teams are made up mostly by the Grade the child currently is in for the spring. We do it this way so that players potentially know each other from the classroom. Special requests may be noted for K and pre K only. This would be done in the NOTES section only. We will not accept special requests via email. We will do our best to accommodate cohorts, but due to team sizes and abilities, not all requests can be honoured. Children must be 4 years old by May 1, 2025 Practice Clinics In addition to the Sunday program, we offer free clinics at Fred Wolfe Park (300 Hollow Rd, Orange CT) to all In-house enrolled players. These sessions are organized by Sterling Smith, an Amity Travel Soccer tenured coach and run by him and his staff. Players must wear shin guards and sneakers (soccer cleats are optional) and bring water. Tuesdays Thursdays Girls 5:00-6:00 6:00-7:00 Boys 6:00-7:00 5:00-6:00 Fees The fee for the Spring 2025 season is $100.00 when paid by March 24th 11:59pm $110 if paid between March 24 th thru April 13 th 11:59pm $125 if paid After April 13 th Requests to sponsor a Team must have artwork submitted and paid for no later than March 31th Register and Pay early to avoid the late fees!! COACH Volunteers Needed Orange Soccer is most successful due to all the great volunteers we have. Please consider coaching your child’s team. Pre-season training is available for 1 st time coaches. In order to coach, please register your child and also yourself. If you are a first-time volunteer you will need to enter your birthdate and Driver’s License Number, so that the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association may run a free background check.
