Join us at the Creative Spirit Community Arts Center, where we will be creating all week long! From watercolors to Week 2 of our teen summer art program, everyone is welcome to join us and create! Monday - Friday - All Day 🎨 Week 2 of SLC Arts’ Teen summer art program will feature theatre technician and writer, Dakota Newark! Who will be teaching Puppetry in the mornings, and SUNY Potsdam Presidential Intern, Nav Atkinson, who is teaching Storyboards in the afternoons. Tuesday, July 15 🖌 Watwercolors with Rita Goodwin - 6:00 PM This class is specifically designed for beginners! Rita will teach the basics of watercolor, and then you can let your creativity flow! Each attendee will get up to 4 cards and any bookmarks they want to paint Wednesday, July 16 ✏Writers group - 6:00 PM Bring your latest work and connect with fellow writers in a welcoming space. Thursday, July 17 ✍ Hooks and Needles: Textile Guild - 6:00 PM Bring your own projects and see what others are working on. Be prepared to brainstorm, troubleshoot, collaborate & scheme! Saturday, July 19 ✨ Linocut Stamp Printing with Dana Butcher - 11:00 AM Explore the techniques of designing, carving, and printing your own unique blocks. Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their creative skills. 📦 Play reading of "The Mysterious Box" with John Berbrich! - 6:00 PM A mysterious box is delivered to the Phantom-Fixers. Will they uncover the mystery? What’s in the box? Come find out this Saturday! *Note there is no Playwriting Circle on the 14th.
