Our Master Teacher, Jo Ann, connected with a child who was at the writing table with some crayons and a basket full of coloring sheets. He wasn’t interested in the sheets. Coloring pages can provide some entertainment but the best way to use this worksheet was to turn it over. Terrel and Jo Ann noticed the sun shining through the window onto the basket of papers. The sun created a shadow of the design on the basket, which reflected on the table. They put a plain piece of paper on the table to capture the design. Terrel immediately colored on the paper, engaging with the shadow.
