When Cassandra met Filonise and her malnourished son at our USN center in Petit Goâve, she didn’t expect to change a life. But when she learned Filonise had lost everything—her home, her family, her support system—Cassandra opened her own door. Despite living in a small, crowded house, she welcomed them in without hesitation. Now, every week, she travels to Grand Goâve to make sure Rudensky continues receiving care.
