The Western New York Chapter got its start in the late 1970s when a small group of fundraisers from healthrelated organizations began to meet informally to discuss mutual concerns. From that humble beginning todays chapter with a current membership of more than 230 represents all areas of the philanthropic world that work together to enhance the development efforts of charitable organizations throughout Western New York.
