Her determination ensures that 3rd grade is building a strong, thriving learning environment where every scholar feels valued and supported. With a selfless heart, she consistently follows up to facilitate meaningful resets, ensuring scholars have the best experience possible. Ms. Kegler embodies ambition, resourcefulness, and strategic brilliance. Known for her Slytherin-like cunning—but all RAZZLE and DAZZLE—she cheers everyone on, moonlights as an assistant dance coach, and dances through lessons, staff collaborations, and life itself. She drives far each day, checking her heart before any task, always striving to do and be better. She has built strong relationships with scholars across grade levels in Legacy while holding the bar high in pull-out spaces. Ms. Joyner-Smith continues to shine as a model of excellence—strengthening sibling pick-up systems, collaborating with teammates, and supporting Legacy scholars after school, all while setting the standard for mastery of Phase 1 in her classroom.
