Today we celebrate the community that supports and are part of the harlem is..family. Enjoy these beautiful portraits by Tau Battice who captured our guests at our harlem is.. Music ALIVE special Black Music Month celebration this past Monday at our home at Harlem Hospital Center. The event featured the New York African Chorus Ensemble, Cruz Angel and Daniel Carlton and honored Joyce Adewumi and George Harrell. Remember our harlem is..Music, Theater, & Dance exhibit is free and open Tuesdays 10am to 2pm and Thursdays and Saturdays 12 pm to 4 pm. School and community groups may visit only by appointment by calling 917-757-2242 or email bh@communityworksnyc.org. This exhibit is dedicated to the memory of former Community Works Board Chairman Michael Davidson. A program of Community Works and New Heritage Theatre Group with funding from Harlem Community Development Corporation (fb)
Sometimes an event just surpasses your expectations and was our harlem is..Music Alive in celebration of Black Music month at Harlem Hospital Center this past Monday. To a full house the joy of community and the power of music resounded. Thanks to all that made it happen - Joyce Adewumi and the New York African Chorus Ensemble, Cruz Angel and Daniel Carlton.
