St. David’s Society of the State of New York – Welcome to our website!

The St. David's Society of The State of New York was founded in 1801. Our aim to develop and support the Welsh culture and communities in the US. THE MISSION OF THE ST. DAVID'S SOCIETY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK IS MULTI-FOLD. ITS FIRST GOAL IS TO PRESERVE THE COMMON HERITAGE AND CULTURE OF ALL WELSH-AMERICANS, BINDING THEM EVER CLOSER TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY, WALES.ITS SECOND GOAL IS TO ADVANCE WELSH AND WELSH-AMERICAN STUDENTS IN ALL FIELDS OF STUDY WITH THE AWARDING OF ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS. BEGUN IN 1980, THE ST. DAVID'S SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM HAS DISTRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO VARIOUS STUDENTS.
