Last week, FCA's Director of Behavioral Health Jessica Vivenzio presented to the Norwalk Public School's K-8 counselors on grief and loss to help them as they support the youth and families they work with in the school system. She spoke about different clinical approaches to grief and loss, how signs and symptoms can differ developmentally, some therapeutic techniques they can use for each age group, and local resources for further support or treatment.
