🌳 Mastercard Gives Back – Wrapping Up Global Volunteer Month 2025! 💛 We’re excited to share that Mastercard has once again adopted Cranberry Lake Preserve for 2025! Their amazing volunteers rolled up their sleeves to get the park ready for the season—managing invasive plants, beautifying the entrance, and giving fresh coats of paint to the Nature Center’s steps, fence, and bird-observation tower. Together, they filled 14 bags of invasive plants and brought new life to this beloved community space! 💪 Meanwhile, Mastercard volunteers joined forces with Feeding Westchester to pack 3,000 bags for their Balanced Bites Program—a high-energy, team-based challenge where everyone came out a winner. These meal packs help close the nutrition gap for local kids, ensuring they have access to healthy, kid-friendly foods. 🎲 And that’s not all! Their Communications team crafted 67 Apple Tree Math STEM kits for Family Services of Westchester’s Head Start program. Each kit includes number bars, dice, and apple counters to spark early math learning and build foundational skills in a fun, hands-on way. This May, we made enough Apple Tree Math kits to distribute to every Head Start child heading to kindergarten in the fall. 👏 Thank you to all the volunteers for their time, enthusiasm, and hard work!
