Today we celebrate Grandparents Day! Did you know that many of LCFS’ foster parents are grandparents or other relatives? We are so grateful for the love, stability, and care they provide when family is needed most. (fb)

Our donors have such big hearts – thank you! With their help, children facing cancer, those in remission, and their siblings enjoyed a wonderful week at LCFS' Camp Wartburg filled with joy, laughter, and hope! One of Camp Wartburg's counselors shared a favorite memory from a teamwork activity that week: “At first, the kids were unsure and leaned on me for answers. But as the day went on, they started cheering each other on, solving problems together, and building trust. By the end, they didn’t need me at all. They had become a real team.” For that week, these children weren’t defined by illness. They were teammates, adventurers, and friends. They gained confidence and made memories that will last long after their time at Camp. (fb)
