Mercy Trips Family, Our administrator Julius is asking for help for his mother, she has been having some health problems and the doctors in Fort Portal have been unable to diagnose or treat her effectively. He is trying to raise funds to take her to Kampala for evaluation. The family has raised almost half the funds but they still need about $1200.00. Most of our team has made it to their homes safely. Dr. Jim is flying from Dallas to Midland today. Dr. Thu Ha is doing the last 100 km of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage before heading home. Mercy Trips Healthcare Outreach Mercy Trips Healthcare Outreach Created to Serve Our Story Our Teams Our short term healthcare oriented mission teams consist of caring individuals of many different backgrounds and experience levels. We work together with the goal of serving others carried out in a rural African setting. Our History We are a nondenominational Christianbased organization that partners with local health workers in medically underserved areas to provide services as an outreach of Christian love for our fellow man. We formed a 501c3 nonprofit in 2006 to improve upon a medical partnership begun in Uganda in 2002.
