Mason became an organ donor at the young age of 19. He saved the lives of 4 people, including grateful lung recipient, Robbie, who was dying from emphysema. On Saturday we held the Strides for Second Chances Walk/Run and the Fargo wind showed no mercy! While it was a cold and windy morning, we are so grateful to those who participated and brought the energy. It was filled with connection, inspiration and an abundance of hope. We are looking forward to next year already! One of 56 Organ Procurement Organizations OPOs in the country we serve the second largest geographical region focusing on Minnesota North Dakota South Dakota and portions of western Wisconsin. Eye tissue and organ donation offers healing to a family experiencing a loss and hope to the patient receiving the transplant.
