In 1996, Sensei Jimmy Mora founded the Shinjinbukan New York Branch. In 2007, he established the Shinjinbukan Foundation. The Shinjinbukan School was founded by Onaga Yoshimitsu Sensei in Okinawa to preserve Ti (手) – the ancient Okinawan martial art, which preceded modern Karate. The living tradition taught by Onaga Kaichō is known as "Onaga no Ti" (翁長の手) . Preserve and promote the martial arts culture from Okinawa, Japan.
