In the span of just a month, Housing 4 All TN coalition received over 480 surveys from 49 counties across Tennessee. The surveys were submitted by services providers and advocates as well as people who are currently experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. That’s over half the counties in our state. SOCM members in Columbia and Knoxville were responsible for a significant portion of the surveys returned. This was an incredible response! Last Tuesday, Housing 4 All TN hosted a virtual feedback session, where they presented the report's results and gathered valuable feedback from people across the state regarding the survey and the next steps. We had a great time tabling at We Are Inskip! on Saturday. SOCM members paraded, danced, had great conversations, made new friends, and braved a downpour that thankfully cleared up by parade time. Community organizing can be hard work, but it's also a source of so much joy! (fb)
