Lake of the Woods Fire & Rescue
Our volunteer force has more than 50 members who work side by side with the County of Orange Fire & EMS (COFEMS) to provide critical emergency services for our neighbors and the county. We are on staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lake of the Woods Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. provides fire and rescue services to the Lake of the Woods homes owners association and surrounding counties of Orange, Spotsylvania, and Culpeper.

LAKE OF THE WOODS VOLUNTEER FIRE RESCUE COMPANY Are You Ready for a Challenge. Lake of the Woods Volunteer Fire Rescue Company was incorporated under Virginias law on August 23 1971. Located in Locust Grove VA Lake of the Woods Volunteer Fire Rescue Company provides fire protection and emergency response services and prevents the loss of life and property to the Locust Grove community. Our combined volunteer force of over 150 members operates out of two buildings a 2story fire building headquarters and a 1story rescue building.
