Today, our school community gathered to celebrate the distribution of the Kevin Hansen Green Jacket Award. This award honors the memory of the late Kevin Hansen, a Mount Carmel teacher who inspired our students to work towards becoming the very best versions of themselves. His dedication to our students, athletes and our school modeled the very best of Catholic Education -- something we recognize in an honoree each year. We were pleased to announce Mr. Dan Haggerty '11 as the 2025 Green Jacket Award recipient and to reveal our surprise second recipient: Mr. John Stimler (H), Kevin's colleague and friend, during today's ceremony. Our entire community cheered as we celebrated the impact that both of these men have in the classroom, modeling the legacy of Kevin. Congratulations, Dan and John! (fb)
