Thanks to all who joined us for the First Annual Lake LeBoeuf Splash & Dash! We joined forces with WECAN Waterford, who sponsored a Kayak Poker Paddle, and our very first Duck Race. Organized by the King Ducks, Ed Pfadt and @Bill Schneider, and their amazing team of volunteers. At High Noon, the ducks were released into the wilds of LeBoeuf Creek to head for the lake, with a little help from our duck wrangling team and a former award winning softball pitcher from FLB, @Susan Briggs Osborn. The ducks were a bit cantakerous plus Mother Nature was playing tricks with the currents, and the water table was low...but the strong persevered. Encouraged by the crowd cheering from the side, lots of laughs, and @Bill Schneider providing a play by play creekside.
