Illinois Health and Hospital Association

The Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the interests of hospitals and health systems across Illinois. IHA supports innovative healthcare models, such as community paramedicine programs. For instance, the Advocate Sherman Hospital Mobile Integrated Health program has demonstrated successful outcomes by deploying trained paramedics to support patients in managing chronic conditions, resulting in reduced hospital readmissions and emergency department visits.

Events and Programs

IHA organizes significant events, including the Small & Rural Hospitals Annual Meeting, which focuses on building community trust, financial sustainability, and addressing mental health needs in rural settings. The association also offers a Corporate Sponsorship Program that provides access to key decision-makers in Illinois' healthcare sector through its signature events.
