Together We Stand Outreach of Louisiana, was found in 2012 as an outreach program that serves system involved youth and children and their families. Our programs include but are not limited to summer programming, residential facilities for youth with emotional disturbances, safe houses for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and/or trafficking. Through our Hold My Hand program we have served more than 3000 children since 2002 providing mentoring amd emotional support. We have partnered with local and federal entities to expand programs that support ad risk youth, and grandparents raising grandchildren. We are an active member of the Juvenile Justice reform commission and I have worked with Ben Crump and other notables to bring awareness to the deficits of dcfs and other systems that leave our children vunerable and unserved. We also have a annual Christmas Child Campaign that we have done for 16 years and in total have connected community members together to sponsor a child for Christmas.
