Trigger Warning: Suicide Through the miracle work of VOA Northern Rockies, Barbie rekindled her joy and strength during a dark time. After a family tragedy led Barbie to try and take her own life, she ended up in the ICU for several days. She was then connected to a team of peer specialists, therapists, nurses, and case managers at VOA who helped her address her mental health struggles.
