A beacon of light forever shines @SowASeed 💖 Our hearts are saddened by the sudden loss of one of our benefactors @mikaben509 As we gather together and reflect on this beautiful soul that blessed this earth, we are reminiscent of how Mikaben would always go out of his way to help those around him, was among the first to sign up for our Spread the Joy events and always joined us in countless missions instilling hope, cheer and smiles among Haiti’s children, bringing song and dance even through the most challenging times. Among all the memories, we will remember his infectious smile, his humbleness in charitable work, his undeniable passion and inspirational messages through his music, which profoundly left an imprint in all of our lives and brought everyone together. Backpacks for a brighter path Sow a Seed] 💗 In these challenging times, we understand it can be difficult to donate or offer support but we’re not letting some bumps in the road stop us. We must persevere and lead the path for a brighter future for Haiti’s children. Please join us Sow a Seed] as we regroup and start putting backpack kits together filling them up with back-to-school essentials. School starts next week! For just $12 USD, each child will receive a kit filled with school supplies that will get the child well-equipped to enter, and succeed, the academic year. KIT INCLUDES: School bag/Backpack Pencils Pencil sharpener Pens Notebook Ruler Crayons Math set Pencil case Our goal is to fulfill 3,000 back-to-school kits and distribute them to schoolchildren throughout Haiti, and raise funds to help offset the costs of purchasing and fulfilling the kits, distribution and other immediate needs during this initiative.
