We are a non-profit 501c3. Our Mission: Building skills and enriching lives through literacy in Lapeer County and surrounding areas. We provide free tutoring and support to those seeking help in getting a GED, ESL learning, and basic literacy. Our mission is "building skills and enriching lives through literacy in Lapeer County and surrounding areas." We offer one to one and small group tutoring services for adults to help them improve basic skills including reading, writing, math, and English-speaking. Most adult students want to earn their GED. We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction. Through school and library based partnerships, we offer child tutoring and family programs. We partner with GST Michigan Works to provide tutoring at their offices in Lapeer, Tuscola, Huron, Sanilac, and Shiawassee Counties int the thumb area of Michigan.
