As we prepare for a new chapter at ICES, we want to take a moment to acknowledge recent changes and share a bit about the road ahead. As many of you know, Principal Hendricks is retiring after a long and meaningful career in education, and Assistant Principal Walden has also moved on. We are so grateful for their leadership, the relationships they built, and the impact they had on our school community. We also want to recognize that Mr. Ullrich, who served as our Dean of Students, will not be returning next year. Their work and presence at ICES have meant a great deal to many students, families, and staff, and we thank them for the positive difference they made. We know these transitions raise questions, and it’s natural to feel a mix of emotions when familiar faces move on. Please know that we are here, we are listening, and we are committed to honoring the heart of this school while continuing to grow and move forward. As the new principal, I’m excited to work alongside our new assistant principal, Mrs. Hooker, to continue building a school where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged to do their best. We’ve loved meeting many of you already, and we look forward to deeper connections with staff, students, and families. We’ll continue to share updates as we prepare for the school year, including opportunities to engage and ask questions. Our door is always open, and we welcome your partnership in this journey.
