DOGGY TRANSPORT DAY!! 💛🐾 Animal shelters in the Central Valley are always over capacity and rescues like Family Dog step in whenever possible to take dogs who are almost out of options and find them loving homes! But so much work goes into the process of selecting the dogs from the animal shelter, finding a transport, and this process can take time and requires a lot of patience. And here is a little view of what happens when the transport finally makes it to the farm in Sonoma! Of course these dogs might be scared as they don’t know where they’re going but we know that they’re safe now and soon they’ll start to know how wonderful life can be! Come hang out or volunteer with us at the SONOMA FARMERS’ MARKET fridays! 🌱🫛🐶🐾🍅 One of our devoted volunteers spent a fun morning down at the Sonoma Farmers’ Market with her two teenage daughters helping out, and doggos Scout, Toby and Wyatt! Lots of nice people stopping to say hi to the dogs, ask about fostering or volunteering, and even two FDR alumni dogs came by! A really pleasant way to spend a Friday morning so come see us at the Sonoma Farmers’ Fridays 9-1230 and visit our volunteer page if you want to help at the market and/or help transport dogs to the market!
