Saving dogs isn’t cheap—especially when it comes to transport! We’re always thrilled to get these babies on the road to their forever homes, but the price tag can be steep. Senior Bow Tie is heading to Houston as his first stop before catching a ride all the way to his new mom in Washington State! After eight years of rescuing dogs from Texas, this is our very first adoption to the Pacific Northwest. It might seem small to some, but to me, it’s a big milestone. Expanding our reach means more lives saved—and that’s the goal 💙 Theodore is also hitching a ride to Houston before continuing on to Maryland later this week! Between the three transport services, the total cost is $750: 🚐 $350 to get both boys to the transport hub 🌲 $200 to Washington 🌄 $200 to Maryland That’s not including their boarding and vetting along the way—bringing the total to around $1,000 just to save these two.
