We're excited for the Beat Beethoven 5K, 9:30 a.m., April 26. The LCO string quartet will play Beethoven's Opus No. 74 to challenge runners and walkers to complete the Lawrence Loop course before they finish playing. The route starts and finishes in the Regal Southwind movie theatre parking lot. Not interested in running or walking? Don't miss this concert TONIGHT! On April 5, at 7:30 p.m., Lawrence Civic Choir celebrates its 50th Anniversary, performing Brahms' A German Requiem with Shawnee Choral Society and the Lawrence Community Orchestra at the Lied Center.
