The Joliet Central Band (formerly the Joliet Township High School Band) was organized in 1912, and holds one of the richest traditions in school band history. TO PERPETUATE THE JOLIET TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL CENTRAL CAMPUS BAND. TO ASSIST THE DIRECTOR IN BAND OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE. TO INCREASE COMMUNITY INTEREST BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY. TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT & PROMOTE BETTER RELATIONS AMONG THE BAND MEMBERS THE DIRECTOR & PARENTS.
