Friends of the York County Library Friends of the York County Library The Friends of the York County Library is a nonprofit 501c3 volunteer organization formed in 1975 to provide advocacy and financial support for the York County Library. The Friends raise funds via memberships and through sales at library branches online at the organizations bookstore Friends Books on Main and other local sites. See our book store page for details on this beautiful watercolor of our store by a local artist. Our Projects The funds raised by the Friends support a variety of library programs.
