Each of them has lived behind bars. And each is now running grassroots organizations to support other women caught in the system. 💬 They shared stories. 💪 They built strategies. 💞 They reminded us what true leadership looks like: Buying soap for women in prison. Creating jobs after release. Fighting to change laws that shouldn’t exist in the first place. Yesterday's panel discussion was incredible! 💪 We joined amazing leaders Bobo Diallo from @UN Women , our Executive Director Emily Forhman, Carolyn Boyd from Ecumenical Women's Initiative (Fund Her Now), and Doreen Kalugira from Women of Influence Tanzania to discuss feminist financing for development—and how we can get resources directly to grassroots women leaders.
