“We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus,” said Pastor Mithun of First Baptist Church, volunteers from the church gathered a Welcome Pack of essential household supplies and set up a new home for the Khan family, refugees from Afghanistan. “We see the perseverance and the gratitude of refugee families. Special Update The U. S. Refugee Admissions Program is paused indefinitely and recently resettled refugees are experiencing delays in services. Exodus is mobilizing the Christian community to provide emergency groceries baby supplies and household essentials also creating opportunities for personal connections between volunteers and refugee neighbors.
