Camp Haytown wrapped up today! It was an amazing six weeks in large part because of the college and high school students who joined us. Our camp counselors are stellar: helpful, kind, hilarious, caring, engaged, nurturing, prompt, respectful, and responsible. The list could go on and on, but really the children’s experience says it all. Each day, the campers arrived excited and left with giant hugs and huge smiles. We’d often catch campers gazing at counselors, eyes filled with admiration. These young adults are incredible role models for our little ones. Sarah, Emma Thorp, Emma Tyers, Jackson, Isabella, and the Lynch sister trio of Sarah, Amy and Becca, we are so grateful you shared your summer with us. Camp Haytown wouldn’t be the same without your energy, leadership, and enthusiasm.
