We are overwhelmed and beyond appreciative of the kindness and generosity from our friends at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church. Today we picked up 43 birthday boxes filled to the brim with goodies for our precious recipients. “Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church welcomes all, serves Christ and Transforms lives…as the beloved community we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and to the world. Meals on Wheels 90 Minutes At Lunchtime It Will Change Your Life Human Connection Its so much more than a meal Get Involved Events help fund our services Learning from the past looking toward the future Our meal recipients are homebound and have very few options when it comes to nutrition. For that reason we will do everything possible to deliver meals without interruption. Covid taught us valuable lessons and Meals on Wheels remains committed to daily meal delivery while keeping the health and safety of both recipients and volunteers top of mind. We are grateful for the tremendous support this community has shown for Meals on Wheels and those we serve.
