We're so excited to share the trailer for a powerful new documentary about scoliosis and life-changing spine surgery in Ecuador! This film, by filmmaker Juan Diego Humpierres, highlights the incredible work of the SpineHope program and features spine surgeons Dr. Hazem Nicola, Dr. Alec Stall, and Dr. Todd Ritzman. The documentary follows the dual struggles patients face: both the health battle and the financial burden of a long and complex surgery. It gives a glimpse into the operating room and shows the incredible hope and successful outcomes that are possible. This film will be released during the upcoming Solidaridad Exposición de Arte from October 2-12 in Ecuador, with a mission to raise funds for our next SpineHope surgical trip in February.
