Dr. Zwang's research lab at Harvard is using advanced imaging to track brain cells over time, revealing early warning signs before neurons die in Alzheimer’s. Founded in 1995 by Roger Ackerman a Rotarian in Sumter SC The CART Fund Coins for Alzheimers Research Trust is a nonprofit grassroots organization that provides seed money for cutting edge high impact research grants to help find a treatment or cure for Alzheimers Disease. Roger passed away in 2018 yet to this day we still adhere to our founders initial mission that 100 of every dollar donated goes directly to research.
