MSH Award Nominations Each year at the MSH Spring Seminar Awards luncheon we honor our award recipients. Nominations are still being accepted for the 2025 award luncheon for the following: Founders Educational Award Established in honor of the MSH founders and their belief that education of our members is vital to the growth of our profession. In recognition of enthusiastic dedicated technicians in our profession who put forth extra effort in the field of histology. The award consists of $350.00, on a reimbursement basis, to be used for any form of histology education (seminars, workshops, books, teleconferences, etc). Funds will be available to the award winner for two years. Winner will be chosen by lottery from all qualified nominees and will be announced at the Annual Spring Symposium John M Budinger Award Presented to an individual who contributes significantly to the field of histotechnology in Michigan. Nominee need not be an MSH member. ​ The coveted award consists of recognition with a plaque and a $50.00 check. Barbara J. Spillan Award Presented to the author of an original paper, or to the presenter of a workshop/ lecture, that is pertinent to histology. The award consists of a plaque and a $50.00 check. (fb)
