We wanted to share something that makes us really proud — Youth Ambassador Philomena is working on a special project — MathARTika, that brings together her love for math, art and technology. As a Youth Ambassador for the Rural Communities Empowerment Center (RCEC), founded by her grandmother (located in the Eastern Region of Ghana) she has spent the last couple of years working as a Digital Coordinator. She recently built and re-launched the foundation’s website. She’s creating workshops for students using art to help them see math in a new light 182 children attended her first intro session earlier this month. She’s fundraising for 10,000 GHS to provide supplies for the first 12 months of this program including an art show. If you’re able to support or even just spread the word, we’d be so grateful.
