Dear Community of HOPE, We’re absolutely bursting with gratitude and excitement as we share a few updates of the many powerful ways you gave HOPE to our students who are living in desperate and difficult situations this Spring. Celebrating 15 Years of HOPE At our 15th Anniversary Event on Thursday, April 3rd, we asked and you responded with overwhelming generosity. Our goal was to raise $25,000 to provide over 175,000 meals for students across the globe. But what did you do? You blew past that goal and raised $40,000, enough for 285,000 meals! At the event, we celebrated how each member of our Community of HOPE is a vital piece of the puzzle of Education Equals Hope. Your passion and presence reminded us that together, we are building something beautiful and lasting. Golfing “FORE” HOPE Our TopGolf fundraiser may have been a small gathering, but it made a massive impact. With over $4,000 raised, we will provide support for our friends in Haiti who have been displaced by ongoing political unrest. Special thanks to Seth Winkler, E.W. A Growing Herd of HOPE in Uganda This Mother’s Day, your generosity honored the women who’ve shaped your story by empowering widows in Uganda to shape theirs. Because of you, 25 families (and counting!) now have goats that will provide milk, income, and access to education for their children. That’s more than just a goat...That’s HOPE. Thank you for believing in our mission! For showing up. For giving meals, refugee support, and goats - all tangible ways that HOPE is being spread across the world because of YOU. (fb)

Chantal, Philbert, and Yvonne are in Primary Five at the Blessing School for the Visually Impaired in Musanze and they’ve done so well this year. With just one term left before they move on to Primary Six, this is the moment to stay focused, keep trying, and believe in themselves. Each of these students have faced challenges, but they’ve never given up. Chantal is patient and always giving her best, Philbert is always full of smart ideas, and Yvonne is bright and ready to help wherever she can. This last stretch is a big one, but they’re almost there. With hope in their hearts and encouragement from their teachers, they’re ready to finish strong. (fb)
