Welcome, Nelleke! Highland is thrilled to host Nelleke for two weeks as part of the Illinois Consortium of International Studies Program (ICISP) faculty and staff exchange. Nelleke joins us from Aventus in Deventer, the Netherlands, where she teaches Dutch as a second language and collaborates with Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, training medical students in gynecology research. As part of this exchange, Laura Watson, Highland’s Director of Library Services, will visit Aventus and reconnect with Nelleke in May 2026. This international partnership offers a valuable opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen our global connections in education.
