Meet Moose — our lovable, goofy hound mix who’s been waiting 11 months for his forever home. Moose has spent nearly a year with us at Sarge’s, and while we’ve loved every minute of his big-hearted, tail-wagging personality, it’s time for him to say goodbye… and hello to home. ❤️ This sweet boy has so much love to give. He does well with other dogs (especially medium to large ones who can keep up with his playful energy!) but would rather not share space with cats. Moose is the perfect mix of silly and smart — he’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and always up for an adventure, whether that’s a hike through the mountains or a ride down the parkway for a pup cup. Moose can be a little anxious in new environments and needs someone who can help him feel safe and understood. Apartment living isn’t the best fit for him, but a home with a yard and patient, loving humans? That’s his dream come true. Our behavior and medical teams have worked closely with Moose to help him manage his anxiety, and his future adopter will have ongoing support from our Behavior and Adoption Coordinator to ensure a smooth, successful transition.
