Tennessee Craft invites you to apply to The 47th Annual Fall Tennessee Craft Fair! The Tennessee Craft Fairs are honored the top 100 premier art shows in the country. Attracting typically 45,000+ visitors, an opportunity to directly meet and engage patrons, collectors and the public. This juried art show presents traditional and contemporary fine craft art, handmade by ~170 artists, held outdoors, and is free admission to the public. The 2025 Fall Fair will be held October 10, 11 & 12 in the heart of Nashville on the beautiful Parthenon lawn of Centennial Park. The opening reception for Crafting Blackness' Embracing Blackness: Diasporic Union will be on May 10th from 5-7 at the @customshousemuseum in Clarksville, TN. The Crafting Blackness series of exhibitions began with the 100-year history of black craft artists in Tennessee, 1920-2022, which is a research project by BIPOC art historian and curator Karlota Contreras-Koterbay. The exhibition covers a century of craftmaking history by African Americans in the state of Tennessee. Each exhibition in Tennessee is curated to highlight the artisans of that area within the statewide show. (fb)
