What to Expect: We’ll embark on a leisurely 4.4-mile (round trip) journey along a beautiful section of the Bay Circuit Trail, starting at 1:00 PM from Willowdale State Forest (277 Linebrook Rd, Ipswich). Our route takes us to the peaceful Dow Brook Conservation Area, with gentle ascents and pauses for simple mindfulness exercises. Sweet Treat Stop! 🍦 Mid-way, we’ll make a delightful stop at White Farms Ice Cream for a well-deserved snack! (Remember, cash only – ATM on site!) After the Hike: You’re invited to explore Marini Farm Stand, located right near our starting point, for fresh, local produce! Just completed an incredible 10-mile hike on the Bay Circuit Trail for “Hike for a Change 2025”! 🥾 Huge shoutout to Josh from the Dirty Hands Project for leading the way. The @dirty.hands.project is an amazing initiative that was created by Josh and Liz in memory of their son, Ty, who they tragically lost to suicide in 2023. It’s truly inspiring to see them turn profound grief into action for mental health awareness. Big thanks to @thetrustees and @institutionforsavings for their unwavering support of @dirty.hands.project both on and off the trail, and for even joining us today!
