Join @laliff_ 2025, the 24th Edition, which will take place from May 28 to June 1, 2025, in the heart of Hollywood, California, at the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Egyptian Theatre. LALIFF 2025—a vibrant celebration of cinema that delves into powerful themes such as diversity, immigration, women’s rights, disability rights, coming-of-age stories, documentaries, the transformative power of art and music, cultural clashes, and Latin American narratives in both fiction and animation. This year’s program also highlights the evolving Latino experience in the United States, with over a dozen films representing countries across Latin America included in our lineup. This year’s festival promises an exceptional experience, including:     •    Special screenings of short films by talented emerging filmmakers from the Latino Film Institute Fellowship Programs 1 & 2, hosted at the iconic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and the LFI + 150 showcase at the TCL Chinese Theatre.     •    An extraordinary lineup of feature films from across the U.S., Latin America, and the diaspora, highlighting bold narratives, diverse genres, and unique artistic voices from established directors and rising talents.     •    Our Episodic and Shorts programs will feature powerful and innovative works reflecting Latino creatives’ emotional depth, cultural richness, and cinematic excellence.     •    LALIFF 2025 will open with ASCO: Without Permission, directed by Travis Gutiérrez Senger and executive produced by Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna, with special appearances by Zoe Saldaña and Michael Peña. The festival will close with the West Coast premiere of Serious People, co-written and co-directed by Pasqual Gutierrez and Ben Mullinkosson. In addition to film screenings, the festival will offer masterclasses, industry panels, networking opportunities, and live musical performances, making it a dynamic celebration of Latino culture, creativity, and innovation in entertainment.
