PRWC would like to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to everyone who came to help with our clean up on Saturday. We removed 7 tires, a lawn chair, a golf bag, a trash canister, and lots more! We have already hand-pulled more than THREE TONS of invasive water chestnut from Lake Stibbs already this summer... but you probably wouldn't notice from looking at how much is still growing. . We have two more Paddle and Pull events scheduled this week and need ALL THE HELP we get to pull as much of this plant as we can before it drops its seeds and makes the problem that much worse for next season! . You can bring your own canoe, kayak, or paddleboard - or use one of ours! But, please register in advance so we have enough gloves, boats, baskets, and snacks. (fb)
