Meet Cailey Bubis! 📍Delaware, OH 🔬Cailey is starting her senior year in the fall. She is majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry on the Pre-Med Track. Her dream job is to be an OB-GYN. “My goal is to create a safe space for patients where they can feel seen and know their concerns, no matter how small, are taken seriously.” 🩵 Why did you choose MVNU? “Everyone I’ve met on campus has been nothing short of compassionate, welcoming, and selfless. Our community here is unmatched. In such a difficult major, every fellow student and professor I’ve come across has your best interest in mind. There is no unhealthy competition, only people wanting to lift you up and see you succeed.” 👩‍🔬 Cailey works for the MVNU Center for Student Success as an Organic Chemistry 1 & 2 tutor, SI leader and APM. She is also the Events Director for Biology Club. 💻Her favorite spot to study is in the Thorne Library after hours room. “My friends and I basically live in there enough that one day someone was hosting a meeting in there and, upon seeing my friends and I enter the library, said “sorry, I know this is your room… you’ll have to be homeless for a little bit, but we’ll be done soon!” 👨‍🔬When asked who at MVNU has inspired you Cailey shared, “My Pre-Med Advisor, Dr. Madtes. He has poured immense amounts of time and effort into me and other students. If it were not for him, I wouldn’t be nearly as much of a confident learner, nor would I be as prepared for medical school. He is someone who I look up to a lot for his devotion to Jesus and whose compassion and accountability for students.” Fun Fact: I love playing Minecraft. “During my study breaks you will often find me in the library yearning for the mines.” In my free time I enjoy card making and doodling. #MVNU #HigherEducation #PreMed (fb)
