Meet our new Artistic Director, Lindsey Webb Esterdahl! Lindsey Webb Esterdahl is a music educator and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Carolina, where she is pursuing a PhD in music education with a minor in choral conducting. Her research focuses on the intersections of music education and disability studies. Previously a secondary choral director, she taught adaptive music, was a 2021 Teacher of the Year finalist, and received the 2023 SCMEA Young Outstanding Music Educator Award. Her choirs earned superior ratings and were selected for state and national honor choirs, including a 2023 SCMEA conference performance by the Patriot Singers. Lindsey holds degrees from Lander University and the University of South Carolina. She is Secretary of the South Carolina ACDA and active in NAfME and SCMEA. In addition to serving as a clinician for honor choirs, she is Artistic Director of the Dutch Fork Choral Society, Choral Scholar at Shandon Presbyterian Church, and a vocalist with Limited Time Only (LTO).
