Three years ago today, Roe v. Wade fell. A right once guaranteed — to control our own bodies, to access abortion care safely — was stripped away. Equality Health Center was founded in 1974 because abortion became legal. For 51 years, we’ve provided compassionate, judgment-free care. We've stood by our patients through fear, grief, resilience, and love. Now, we serve in a post-Roe world. Even though abortion remains legal in New Hampshire, we feel the weight of this moment every day: A rise in anti-abortion legislation. Increased protests and threats. Critical services going unfunded — GYN, LGBTQIA+ care, family planning. And now, a growing number of patients traveling from out of state — desperate for care they can’t get at home. Across the country, 1 in 3 people now live in states without abortion access. And yet, we carry on. Because we must. Because every person who comes through our doors deserves safety, dignity, and care. We’re still here — and we’re not going anywhere.
