As the only credentialing body focused on the heart and circulatory systems, CCI supports the education and career advancement of cardiovascular professionals. CCI is a not-for-profit corporation established in 1968 for the purpose of administering credentialing examinations and certification of cardiovascular professionals. TO RAISE THE STANDARDS OF THE PROFESSION BY ASSESSING TESTING, AND PROMOTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CARDIOVASCULAR PROFESSION.
