A Nike missile from LA-29, here in Brea. Opened in 1958 and closed in 1971 it was here to protect us from Soviet bombers. This is an MIM-3 Nike Ajax Missile. In 1973 the land was transferred to the City of Brea for some type of recreational use. That has not happened yet. (fb)

Welcome Welcome to the Brea Museum Historical Society The Museum is located in historic City Hall Parkat Brea Boulevard and Elm Street. Admission is always free and parking is located behind the building. The Museum is openTuesday Wednesday Thursday Saturday from 1200 to 400 pm. Please note many of our pages here are still under construction.
