We're proud to recognize Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Week! Our APPs have extensive expertise, allowing RWJBarnabas Health to offer an efficient, comprehensive and coordinated approach to health care. As part of our system celebrations, RWJBarnabas Health APPs were recognized and celebrated at our Awards of Excellence ceremony on Sept. 16. Dr. Christopher Gilligan, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital; Maureen Harding, Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services; and Michael Prilutsky, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, attended to help celebrate and spoke in recognition of our outstanding APPs. Nancy Holecek, RWJBarnabas Health Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, was honored with a Trailblazing Leadership award for her critical role in supporting the APP Collaborative since its inception in 2019 and continuing to champion the APP workforce. Today, Essex County and RWJBarnabas Health’s Community Health and Global Strategic Partnerships team gathered to unveil a brand new pediatric mobile health clinic – ready to bring vital care directly to children and families across all 22 municipalities in the County. Staffed with a pediatric doctor, nurse and medical assistant, and supported by our Community Health Workers, the van will provide: 💙School physicals 💙Flu immunizations 💙Vision and hearing checks 💙Asthma education 💙Health education By meeting children where they are, we’re closing care gaps and ensuring every child has the support they need to grow, thrive and reach their full potential. It’s an honor to collaborate with Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo and leaders like Senator M.
